Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon HIM) is Alive and Listens Every Blessed DarooD

Sayyidyna Ibne Maso’od (May Allah Please with Him) narrated that he humbly asked Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon HIM), O Prophet of Allah! The people who recite the blessed Darood while not being present before you or those people who shall recite the blessed Darood on you in the time hereafter, please mention to (us) about them as well. The Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon HIM) answered, ‘I listen to the recitation of the blessed Darood of the devoted/loving people and recognise them and apart from the devoted people, the blessed Darood recited by other people is also presented to Me.’

Hazrat Abi Durda (May Allah Please with Him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon HIM) stated, ‘Recite blessed Darood in abundance on Friday because it is Witnessed Day (Youme Mash’hood) and the angels descend from the heavens on this day. Whoever among you recites the blessed Darood, I hear the voice of his reciting the blessed Darood wherever he may be.’ The Companions of Prophet (May Allah Please with Them) further asked whether He would be able to do so even after when He has left this material world. The Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon HIM) replied that Allah Almighty had made it forbidden (haram) for the soil earth to consume the physical body of the Prophets.

Hazrat Abu Huraira’h (May Allah Please with Him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon HIM) stated, ‘Recite Darood Blessed on Me in abundance on Friday, because on Friday the recitation of my follower is presented to me. The person who recites blessed Darood on Me comes closer to Me as much as he recites.’

Hazrat A’ammar Bin Yasir (May Allah Please with Him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon HIM) stated, ‘Allah Almighty has appointed an angel at my resting place. When an follower recites blessed Darood, the angel says, ‘Ya Ahmed (Peace and Blessing be Upon YOU), and then mentions that a certain person son of a certain person son of a, (the name of his grandfather) has sent blessed Darood upon You.’ Then Allah Almighty sends blessings ten times on him and his father and his grandfather. It was also narrated that the angel would remain at the resting place of the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon HIM) until the day of judgement (Youm Al Qiyyamah).

Hazrat Ali (May Allah Please with Him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be Upon HIM) stated that whoever recites and sends blessed Darood hundred times on Him on Friday, on doomsday (Youm Al Qiyyamah) he would be accompanied by such radiance (noor) that if the radiance (noor) is distributed among the whole of mankind, it would be enough for all of them.
