Month of Rabi Al-Thani

The month of Rabbi Al-Thani is the anniversary month of the king of Baghdad, Chief of the contented souls, the incomparable, Sultan Ul Awliyaa Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (May Allah be Pleased with Him).

The bestowing of the Spiritual Caliphate (Khilafah) by Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani to Shaykh Muhammad Mohsin Munawar Yousafi was granted on 3rd January 2011. Sayyidi Shaykh Muhammad Mohsin Munawar Yousafi Al Naqshbandi stated that since the sole purpose of my visit to Baghdad was to visit the holy court of the King of Baghdad. Therefore during the entire stay in Blessed Baghdad, before going to any other place or shrine, I used to visit the court of my Beloved and the Master of all Saints, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (May Allah be pleased with Him) and then visit to any other places.

On Monday 3rd January 2011, I was reciting Darood (Salawat) 5000 times before visiting the Shrine as per His instructions, the mirror of my heart was reflecting the image of the glorious face of my Beloved Master in such a way that my body and soul were in an ecstatic state. After reciting Blessed Darood, I had breakfast in the hotel room and performed ablution and asked the taxi driver to go straight to the shrine of The Great Ghawth Al Azam (May Allah be pleased with Him).

When I reached the court of The Great Ghawth Al Azam (May Allah be pleased with Him). I was in the state of great respect with fear. At some moments, I wished to hug the shrine out of love and some moments I consider even the sound of the breathing as disrespectful. My heart couldn’t believe, I was amazed that for whom I praised day and night for over twenty years, now I am present in His great court and also for instant it didn’t seem to be real. I recited Khatam at Mawajeh Shareef and kept meditating for a long time with my head lowered. The incidence of Khawaja Bahauddin Naqshband (May Allah be pleased with Him) was also echoing in my heart. Khawaja Bahauddin Naqshband meditated on the grave of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani, in Baghdad.

The Great Ghawth Al Azam (May Allah be pleased with Him) blessed him with his Spiritual attention (Tawajjuh), and He requested:

Oh! Holder of the hands of the entire world; take hold of my hand as well; Whose hand you hold, becomes the holder of others hands.(Khawaja Bahauddin Naqshband)

In response to this, in happiness, The Great Ghawth Al Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani Khawaja Bahauddin Naqshband (May Allah be pleased with Him) Stated from His Blessed Grave:

Oh! Naqshband you have kept the secrets of (the saints of) the whole world, keep my secret as well; Keep my secret in such a manner that people may call you Naqshband (the keeper of the secret).(Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani)

And the praising of Hazrat Sultan Bahu (May Allah be pleased with Him) were echoing somewhere in my heart :

“Listen to my plea O Master of the Masters, listen carefully; My fleet is in so much troubled waters where even crocodiles fear to go; O king of Jilaan, beloved of Allah, have a merciful look on me; Only those manage to reach safely, the Guide of whom is Meeraan (You)”

When I opened my eyes, while having tears of love and listening to the voices of acceptance, I was swaying with happiness to see Ghawth ul Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani’s (May Allah be pleased with Him) special attention and blessings as I was blessed with the biggest blessing of Ijazah (permission) and Khilafat (Representation) from the court of the great Ghawth.

“I saw in the state of meditation that The Great Ghawth Al Azam (May Allah be pleased with Him) was sitting in front of me while resting against the net of the Mawajeh Sharif, outside the Shrine and he had an Iron Jug full of milk in his hand. He gave one glass of milk from it to my wife Uzma and gave the rest of the milk to this humble and when after some time I was able to connect again while meditating, I saw Him coming out of His shrine. He had a green shawl in his hand and with great affection he covered me with that shawl with his own hands. After a short gap, when I was able to connect again in the state of meditation I saw that he had a high wooden seat in his hands and he made me sit on that seat by placing that under me”.
